Each year, the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance recognizes standout small businesses in the community. Awards are distributed across several categories, but one organization is chosen as the overall Small Business of the Year. This year, the recipient of that award was 434 Marketing, a full-service marketing and consulting firm located on Commerce Street.
“It was an honor to accept the 2017 Small Business of the Year award,” says Dustin Slightham, founder and CEO. “I am incredibly grateful for my wife Jennifer, who courageously serves behind the scenes. To the 434 Marketing team (past & present), that crush it daily with their passions and produce results that matter. And lastly, to the Lynchburg community, made up of friends, family, supporters, and clients. None of this could be possible without you!”
Visitors to the 434 Marketing website are greeted with the message, “You don’t need a list of template services, you need a team.” 434 Marketing specializes in supporting their clients with research, strategy, execution, and analysis to inform their ongoing organizational initiatives. This means that clients get their own marketing team that treats each business as if it were their own.
Over the past few years, 434 Marketing has built a reputation for excellent and effective marketing solutions. Their business has grown through word-of-mouth from satisfied clients with thriving organizations. Their focus for 2017 is on growing well and adding talented team members. The 434 Marketing team also makes it a point to give back to the community. The team takes on numerous pro bono projects and each team member is involved with various clubs and organizations throughout the city.
